CSD threatens Fuenlabrada for circumventing confinement by doing fat checks

first_imgHe Higher Sports Council (CSD) has threatened by letter to sanction the Fuenlabrada after the azulón club has authorized its footballers to go to Fernando Torres to individually carry out a fat analysis by the new nutritionist hired at the request of José Ramón Sandoval. The news, unveiled by AS yesterday Sunday, has caused the discomfort of the CSD and this threat of sanction that today the Cadena SER has been made public and AS has been confirmed. The agency has contacted the Azulona entity by letter first thing in the morning, while the players were already passing those fat controls. The document states that they could be sanctioned.AS has witnessed this morning that the mechanism that was disclosed yesterday in this newspaper had been launched. The players waited in their cars in the Fernando Torres parking lot and entered the interior one by one, where this fat control was done individually. No footballer has come into contact with others and they were notified by phone when they had to enter the compound. At 8:30 in the morning, these controls had already begun and stopped shortly after the CSD communication. The club has ordered to stop them, but the initiative has also come from the players themselves, fearful that, by continuing them, they could be sanctioned individually. Hardly half a dozen of them have passed them. No one in the club formally contacted either LaLiga or CSD. before executing these analyzes because it was understood that it fell within the assumptions established by the new conditions of confinement, those preceding the hibernation of the economy that was set just over two weeks ago. In this regard, it should be noted that the lawyer who advises the club is Javier Tebas Llanas, son of Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga. Tebas Llanas was already an advisor to the entity before being promoted to Second. In the CSD they say that initiatives like this one from Fuenlabrada or the threat of returning to the training sessions of the Real Sociedad respond to LaLiga’s attempts to pressure the government to facilitate, as soon as possible, the return to work of the 42 First and Second templates. Club reactionFaced with threats from the Higher Sports Council to Fuenlabrada for evading confinement, the Madrid club has made the following statement:“During the morning, a communication was received in which the Higher Sports Council warns that Royal Decree 463/2020 does not allow the opening of sports facilities to the public. The CF Fuenlabrada wants to clarify that at no time has it opened its sports facilities to the public and that it has complied with Royal Decree 463/2020 and with the highest standards of sanitary protocols. However, due to institutional consideration and in order to clarify the situation with all the guarantees, the scheduled weigh-ins have been provisionally suspended. “last_img read more
