The successful candidate will practice inMorgantown, WV.Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the areas ofPediatric Neurology with an emphasis on neuromuscular disease. Heor she will have the opportunity to become part of a growinginterdisciplinary neuromuscular team. In addition to providingexcellent patient care, he or she will also be actively involved inthe teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.Qualifications: applicants must have an MD or DO degree or foreignequivalent and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginiamedical license. Candidates must have completed an accreditedpediatric neurology residency and a neuromuscular fellowship, andbe board eligible/certified in child neurology. For appointment atthe Associate Professor or Professor rank, a demonstratedtrack-record of leadership, excellent communication skills, andpublications in high-impact journals are required. The hospital will include 34 pediatricbeds, 54 NICU beds, 31 PICU beds, Heart Institute, and a dedicatedCancer Institute.
