first_imgSR pulled out a conference win tonight in 5 games against Switzerland County 23-25, 21-25, 25-15, 25-13, 15-13.‘Well, the first two games weren’t pretty, we were slow and not ready to play, which cost us losses in the first two sets. Not the way I wanted to start off conference play and I let them know. They responded with a 3 game comeback playing very well in sets three and four, but set five we let Switz get some momentum, I used both of my time outs to keep reminding them how important this game was and how short of a game it is to 15. We pulled out the win, and although we showed some mental toughness by being down 2-0 and winning 3 sets straight, I told them, It’s too late in the season for this nonsense. We have to start off strong and come ready to play.’ Raiders Coach Robyn Greiwe.SR Stats:  Mercedes Bowling: 19/22 attacks 11 Kills, 2 blocks (1 BS, 1 BA), 12 Digs, 20/21 serves, 11 points;  Riley Sparks: 43/50 attacks 21 kills, 3 blocks (2 BS, 1 BA), 16 Digs, 15/15 serves 7 points, 88 serve receive;  Morgan Peetz: 4/4 attacks 1 kill, 1 BA;  Tori Tucker: 23/25 attacks 9 kills, 8 blocks (6 BS, 2 BA), 10 Digs, 9/10 serves 3 points, 8/8 serve receive;  Laken Farrell: 26/29 attacks 14 Kills, 3 blocks (2 BS, 1 BA), 35 Digs, 14/15 serves 7 points, 7/7 serve receive;  Mariah Gentile (libero): 40/43 Digs, 22/25 serve receive;Elizabeth Bodenberg: 59/59 sets 24 Kill Assists, 23/23 serves, 15 points;  Kayla King: 56/57 sets 20 Kill Assists, 23/23 serves 15 points;  and Julia Rea: 4/6 attacks, 5/5 serve receive.last_img
