first_imgThe Ireland squad will hold another training session this morning in Versailles – before re-locating to Bordeaux ahead of Saturday’s clash with Group E top-seeds, Belgium.Jonathan Walters remains the only fitness concern for Ireland manager Martin O’Neill, who could be tempted to unveil a new formation in training today ahead of the show-down with a Belgian side that will be desperate to bounce-back from the disappointment of their opening round loss to Italy.Last night, tournament hosts France booked their place in the knock-out stages in dramatic fashion.,  Les Bleus left it right up until the last moment to finally break-down a stubborn Albanian side in Marseille, but injury-time goals from Antoine Griezmann and Dimitri Payet secured a stunning 2-0 victory that put the hosts through with a game to spare.There’s a further three matches taking place today.England and Wales will go head-to-head in Lens in their Group B contest at 2pm.The focus then switches to the second round of matches in Group C.Northern Ireland will seek to revive their hopes of reaching the knock-out stages as they face the Ukraine from 5 o’clock.And the late game today will see neighbours Germany and Poland both looking to register back-to-back wins from 8pm.last_img
