Six people were initially reported missing but rescuers later recovered the bodies from the building.”No one has contacted us about anyone missing in the fire,” Banani police’s inspector (investigation) Borhan Uddin told UNB in the afternoon.A top fire service official said the building had “minimal firefighting equipment” that were “unusable.” Housing minister Rezaul Karim later revealed that FR Tower was built violating the building code.
